The first Potfest venue in the East of the country, Haughley Park is located just outside Stowmarket and mid-way between Bury St Edmonds and Ipswich.
Over 90 makers were selected to showcase a wide and diverse range of work to delight and inspire. At this annual event, you can discover functional and decorative ceramics to suit all tastes and budgets and buy direct from the makers. Along with Potfest South East – Glynde Place and Potfest Scotland – Scone Palace, this show was selected but curated to showcase a diversity and range of work to appeal to all tastes and budgets.
Haughley Park is a new addition to the Potfest calendar and their first venture in the east of the country. Just like the other outdoor Potfest events, exhibitors are allocated spaces back to back down the centre of a series of open-sided marquees to maximise light and take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. The show is located in the parkland to the north of Haughley Park.
POTTERS’ COMPETITION
At each of the Potfest shows, the potters are invited to enter a piece of their work that responds to a theme.
The theme for the potters’ competition at the 2023 Potfest events is Nursery Rhymes. Vote for your favourite on the day for a chance to win a free entry to all of the Potfest events for life with a Potfest Passport.
